As she herself says, during its creation she felt she was becoming a woman, and this is evident on the album. Although it also deals with relationships as do her other albums, it is probably her most varied. Thanks to jazz elements and electronic influences, it feels more experimental, which, considering her subsequent work, is uniquely good.
