André van Duin – LA BOHEME (2025) (CD)

André van Duin, a well-known Dutch comedian and singer, pays tribute to the legendary French chansonnier Charles Aznavour on the album 'La Bohème'. This album contains 13 classic Aznavour songs, which Van Duin translated into Dutch while preserving their original emotion and adding a modern touch. The package also includes an 80-page book with a foreword by Matthijs Van Nieuwkerk, interviews with producer Eric van Tijn, chanson expert Rob Kemps, and Boudewijn de Groot, who recorded the duet 'Een Meisje Van 16' with Van Duin. The book, written by music journalist Robert Haagsma, includes biographies of Van Duin and Aznavour and the stories behind each track. This album is Van Duin’s second project dedicated to the repertoire of a single artist, following the album 'Van Duin Zingt Sonneveld'.
