Bjørn Riis – FIMBULVINTER (Limited) (CD)

'Fimbulvinter' is Bjørn Riis's latest album, released on April 18, 2025 in a limited-edition Digipak CD. This deeply personal project draws on Riis's experiences with anxiety and explores themes of hopelessness, paranoia, and despair, while finding a spark of hope in the darkness. Musically, the album blends atmospheric and introspective progressive rock tones with the energy and confidence of 80s hard rock bands such as Kiss and Black Sabbath. Riis plays all instruments and sings, collaborating with talented musicians such as Henrik Bergan Fossum (Airbag), Arild Brøter (Pymlico), and Kai Christoffersen on drums. 'Fimbulvinter' is a dynamic journey through darkness and light that will appeal to progressive rock fans.
