CD Luck and Strange

David Gilmour, the legendary Pink Floyd guitarist, presents his first album in nine years, 'Luck and Strange', released on September 6, 2024. This album brings eight new tracks and a reworking of the song 'Between Two Points' by The Montgolfier Brothers, featuring his daughter Romany Gilmour on harp and vocals. Production took place in Brighton and London under the direction of Gilmour and Charlie Andrew, known for his collaboration with ALT-J. The album is characterized by Gilmour's distinctive guitar style and introspective lyrics by Polly Samson, which explore themes of aging and mortality. The album cover was designed by the renowned artist Anton Corbijn.
