The legendary trumpeter Miles Davis was still at the beginning of his illustrious career when, between 1952 and 1954, he recorded three sessions for Blue Note. These recordings, originally released on three 10-inch LPs, were later grouped into two 12-inch albums as part of the 1500 series. The album 'Volume 2' presents all the hallmark elements of his early style, from energetic bebop to gorgeous ballads. This Blue Note Classic Vinyl edition is mono, fully analog, remastered by Kevin Gray from the original tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
