Grant Green – GREEN STREET (Vinyl)

Grant Green's 1961 album "Green Street" presents the guitarist in a minimalist trio with bassist Ben Tucker and drummer Dave Bailey. This simple lineup provides space for Green's bluesy lines on originals like "No. 1 Green Street" and his distinctive tone in his interpretation of Thelonious Monk's "'Round About Midnight". This Blue Note Classic Vinyl edition is stereo, fully analog, remastered by Kevin Gray from the original tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
