Jon Hopkins – RITUAL (CD)

Jon Hopkins, the renowned British electronic musician, presents his latest work RITUAL, out on August 30, 2024. This 41-minute ceremonial opus is built on deep basslines, hypnotic rhythms, and transcendent melodies. The album is divided into eight parts, each reflecting a journey of spiritual liberation and heroic pilgrimage. RITUAL is the result of Hopkins’ 22-year career and serves as a kinetic counterpoint to his previous work, 2021’s Music For Psychedelic Therapy. The album features collaborations with longtime partners such as Vylana, 7RAYS, Ishq, Clark, Emma Smith, Daisy Vatalaro, and Cherif Hashizume. Immerse yourself in this emotionally and sonically intense experience that blends delicacy with intensity and offers 41 minutes of uninterrupted listening.
