'THE UNDREAMT-OF CENTRE' is the fourth solo album by Australian drummer and composer Laurence Pike, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of a requiem. The album combines elements of modern classical music, Japanese ambient, electronics, and free jazz, drawing inspiration from Estonian choral traditions, especially from the work of composer Tõnu Kõrvits. The recording was made in collaboration with the Vox Sydney Philharmonia Choir under the direction of composer Sam Lipman and was captured in a 19th-century Gothic church. This edition is available on green vinyl.
