VIVA LONE JUSTICE (CD)

Viva Lone Justice is the first album by Lone Justice in almost 40 years, released on October 25, 2024. This album marks the return of the original lineup: Maria McKee, Ryan Hedgecock, Marvin Etzioni, and the late Don Heffington. The album blends nostalgic elements with new energy, with the opening track 'You Possess Me' highlighting McKee's emotional vocals, supported by a string and mandolin quartet. 'Rattlesnake Mama' is an acoustic version of the originally electric song from their 1983 live performances, with Hedgecock on autoharp and Tammy Rogers on fiddle. The album also includes an energetic cover version of The Undertones' 'Teenage Kicks'. With contributions from guest artists such as Tammy Rogers, David Ralicke, Greg Leisz, and Benmont Tench, Viva Lone Justice revives the band's legendary energy and delivers a vibrant, heartfelt return.
