After more than twenty years, one of the founders of the Slovak underground hip-hop scene decided to dust off his story. The result is not aimed only nostalgically at his peers who remember that era, but also at younger generations – so they can understand how the hip-hop community worked at the turn of the millennium. Ujo Marky and later Marek6.59 thus returns to his childhood and deals with the influence of music on shaping his personality. He describes difficult living conditions, first attempts at lyrics, recordings, and later strict raps in front of hundreds of enthusiasts. The book also marginally records the rise of hip-hop culture in the city of Prešov and is supplemented with photographs mostly from the author's private archive.
