Hommage à Marián Varga is an extraordinarily successful compilation of the very best that the brilliant Slovak composer and musician created and recorded together with his band Collegium musicum. The compilation was curated by Opus label’s longtime collaborator Juraj Čurný, and this title was originally released in 2006. Today, the Opus label brings a renewed reissue of this unique album, whose recordings (some more than 50 years old) are still just as current and appealing.
