Matthew Bourne – ISOTACH (CD)

'Isotach' is an album by acclaimed British pianist and composer Matthew Bourne, released on August 18, 2017. After his experimental projects with Moog synthesizers, Bourne returns to the acoustic piano, creating minimalist compositions with delicate piano motifs and sporadic cello arrangements. Recorded in his countryside home in North Yorkshire during extreme weather, the album captures the atmosphere of wind and rain, which can be heard in the background, adding unique depth and authenticity to the recordings. 'Isotach' is an introspective and emotive collection of pieces that will appeal to lovers of contemporary classical music and minimalist compositions.
