Mike Oldfield – PLATINUM (CD)

'Platinum' is Mike Oldfield's fifth studio album, released in November 1979. This album marks a departure from his previous long compositions towards shorter tracks, blending progressive rock with pop elements. It features innovative arrangements, including a new version of Philip Glass's 'North Star' and a rendition of George Gershwin's 'I Got Rhythm'. The album was remastered in 2012, including bonus tracks such as a live studio version of 'Platinum' and a remix of 'North Star'. This edition is available on red CD, making it an attractive addition for collectors.
