MINING – CHIMET (Vinyl)

'Chimet' is the debut album by the MINING collective, which brings together sound designers, programmers, and improvisational musicians. This limited red vinyl, released on May 17, 2024, offers a unique experimental electronic music experience. The album was created by sonifying meteorological data from the Chichester West Pole Beacon station during storms in October 2017, resulting in a 67-minute soundscape that maps the progression of these storms. 'Chimet' is a powerful and meditative work that will immerse you with its atmosphere.
