Nico – CHELSEA GIRL (CD)

'Chelsea Girl' is the debut solo album by German singer Nico, released in October 1967. This album blends elements of chamber folk and 1960s baroque pop, with Nico's deep, ethereal voice adding a melancholic touch to the tracks. The album features compositions by members of The Velvet Underground, such as Lou Reed, Sterling Morrison, and John Cale, as well as contributions from Bob Dylan and Jackson Browne. Despite initial disagreements over production, 'Chelsea Girl' has become a timeless work that has influenced many artists and remains a pivotal album in music history.
