Phosphorescent – REVELATOR (CD)

Phosphorescent, under the guidance of Matthew Houck, presents its eighth studio album "Revelator", released on April 5, 2024 under the Verve Records label. Recorded in Houck’s home studio in Nashville, this album offers an introspective blend of Americana and indie folk that explores quiet obstacles and unspoken truths connected to home, partnership, and family. "Revelator" features contributions from Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs, Jim White of Dirty Three, and Jo Schornikow, Houck’s partner, who wrote the track "The World Is Ending"—the first Phosphorescent song not written by Houck. This album is an essential addition for fans of thoughtful and emotive music.
