Pixies at the BBC, 1988-91 is a triple album on black vinyl that captures the raw energy of the band’s live performances during their 4AD years. It features 24 tracks from BBC recordings between 1988 and 1991, including favorite songs from the albums 'Come on Pilgrim' and three other studio albums. Also included are three cover versions: 'Wild Honey Pie' by The Beatles, '(In Heaven) Lady in the Radiator Song' from the film Eraserhead, and 'Hang On To Your Ego' by The Beach Boys. Originally released on CD in 1998, this new edition includes all tracks in chronological order and is complemented by new artwork with a black-and-gold design by Chris Bigg, paying tribute to the band’s late visual director, Vaughan Oliver.
