Public Image Ltd – END OF WORLD (CD)

Public Image Ltd. (PiL) presents its 11th studio album "End of World", released on August 11, 2023. This album, the first in eight years, was created during their 40th anniversary tour in 2018 and reflects an explosion of the band’s creativity after returning to the studio. "End of World" offers 13 tracks that combine post-punk roots with experimental elements, while maintaining PiL’s distinctive sound. The album includes personal songs such as "Hawaii", dedicated to John Lydon’s wife, Nora, who died of Alzheimer’s disease in April 2023. "End of World" is available on CD, vinyl, and digitally, with the vinyl edition being a 2x LP played at 45 revolutions per minute for higher sound quality.
