Stephan Micus – TO THE RISING MOON (CD)

'To the Rising Moon' is Stephan Micus's 26th solo album, released on November 15, 2024. This album presents a unique combination of instruments from Colombia, India, China, Bavaria, Cambodia, Egypt, and Borneo. The central instrument is the Colombian tiple, whose bright sound alternates with the deeper tones of bowed string instruments, creating a meditative atmosphere. The closing track 'To the Rising Moon' unites these two musical worlds into a harmonious whole, celebrating the eternal presence of the moon in the night sky. Micus once again offers listeners a unique musical journey into unknown lands, one that no one else could create.
