Sun Ra – STRANGE STRINGS (Vinyl)

Discover "Strange Strings" by Sun Ra in an expanded edition on red vinyl. This 1967 recording is a unique experiment in which Sun Ra handed his Arkestra exotic string instruments they didn’t know how to play, creating a "study in ignorance." The result is a raw yet sophisticated sound, now remastered and supplemented with bonus tracks. This edition includes detailed notes by Irwin Chusid and an expanded essay by David Toop, offering a deeper look into this enigmatic work. Ideal for collectors and fans of avant-garde jazz.
