The Kinks – SOMETHING ELSE BY THE KINK (CD)

"Something Else by The Kinks" is the fifth studio album by the British rock band The Kinks, released in September 1967. This album marks a transition from their earlier hard rock sound to a gentler, acoustic style that incorporates elements of baroque pop and English music hall. Tracks such as "David Watts" and "Waterloo Sunset" are examples of their ability to craft melodic and lyrically rich songs that capture the essence of British life. The album also includes contributions from guitarist Dave Davies, including his solo hit "Death of a Clown". "Something Else by The Kinks" is an essential addition for any fan of classic British rock.
