Zdeněk Svěrák – Není Nutno (Vinyl)

We are celebrating Zdeněk Svěrák’s 90th birthday by releasing a jubilee reissue of the first song album with famed hits! Today already legendary songs by the author duo Zdeněk Svěrák and Jaroslav Uhlíř were released on LP in 1993, sung by the authors themselves and a children’s choir. Some of the famous hits were created for this duo’s regular program called Hodina spevu; others, however, were first heard in films or other programs (e.g. “Není nutno” from the film Tři veteráni, “Dělání” from the TV fairy tale Princovia sú na draka). This LP is a faithful replica of the original 1993 release. Part of the run—specifically 100 covers dedicated to Zdeněk Svěrák’s 90th birthday—is supplemented with a card bearing the author’s authentic signature. Although the songs were originally intended for children, they are also enthusiastically admired by adults, to whom they sound throughout life like beloved sing-alongs. Contains 14 tracks including “Není nutno” and others.
