Dion and the Belmonts

Dion and the Belmonts war eine amerikanische Vokalgruppe aus der Bronx in New York, aktiv Ende der 1950er Jahre. Die Gruppe bestand aus Dion DiMucci, Angelo D'Aleo, Fred Milano und Carlo Mastrangelo. Ihre Debütsingle "I Wonder Why" aus dem Jahr 1958 erreichte Platz 22 der Billboard Hot 100. Es folgten Hits wie "A Teenager in Love" (1959) und "Where or When" (1960). 1960 verließ DiMucci die Gruppe für eine Solokarriere.
