Anthrax

Anthrax is an American thrash metal band formed in 1981 in New York City. They are considered one of the "Big Four" of thrash metal alongside Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer. The current lineup consists of Scott Ian (rhythm guitar), Charlie Benante (drums), Frank Bello (bass), Joey Belladonna (vocals), and Jonathan Donais (lead guitar). Notable albums include "Among the Living" (1987) and "Persistence of Time" (1990). In 1991, they collaborated with Public Enemy on "Bring the Noise," contributing to the emergence of the rap metal genre. Anthrax has received six Grammy nominations.
