August Alsina

August Alsina is an American R&B singer and songwriter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his music career in 2012 with the release of the mixtape "The Product". In 2013, he signed with Def Jam Recordings and released the EP "Downtown: Life Under the Gun". His debut album "Testimony" (2014) reached number two on the Billboard 200 chart and included successful singles like "I Luv This Shit" and "No Love". He subsequently released "This Thing Called Life" (2015), "The Product III: State of Emergency" (2020), and "Myself" (2023). Alsina has collaborated with artists such as Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, and DJ Khaled. In 2014, he received the BET Award for Best New Artist.
