Avmakt

Avmakt is a Norwegian black metal duo formed in 2020, consisting of Kristian Valbo and Christoffer Bråthen, known for their work with bands such as Aura Noir, Obliteration, and Condor. Their debut album, 'Satanic Inversion of....', was released on August 30, 2024, under Peaceville Records. The album features six tracks that capture the raw essence of Norwegian black metal, drawing inspiration from early works of Darkthrone and Bathory. The name 'Avmakt' translates to 'powerlessness' in Norwegian, reflecting their thematic focus on emptiness and alienation. The album was recorded with the assistance of Arild Torp from Obliteration.
