BENEE

BENEE is a New Zealand singer and songwriter from Auckland. She began her music career in 2017 under the name Bene, later adding an 'e' due to pronunciation and copyright issues. She released her debut EP 'Fire on Marzz' in 2019, followed by 'Stella & Steve' later that year. Her single 'Supalonely' featuring Gus Dapperton gained international popularity in 2020. In November 2020, she released her debut album 'Hey U X'. BENEE has received multiple awards at the New Zealand Music Awards, including Best Solo Artist and Best Pop Artist in both 2019 and 2020.
