Blind Guardian

Blind Guardian is a German power metal band formed in 1984 in Krefeld. They are considered pioneers of power and speed metal. The current lineup consists of vocalist Hansi Kürsch, guitarists André Olbrich and Marcus Siepen, and drummer Frederik Ehmke. Notable albums include "Somewhere Far Beyond" (1992), "Imaginations from the Other Side" (1995), and "Nightfall in Middle-Earth" (1998). Their lyrics are often inspired by fantasy literature, particularly the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. In 2022, they released the album "The God Machine".
