Chris Duarte

Chris Duarte is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter known for his Texas blues-rock style that blends elements of jazz, blues, and rock and roll. His musical approach is often described as "rockin' blues" and "punk blues." In 1994, he released his second album, "Texas Sugar Strat Magik," which sold over 100,000 copies. Duarte was awarded "Best New Talent" in Guitar Player magazine's reader poll and ranked fourth in the "Best Blues Guitarist" category behind legends like Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, and B.B. King. Throughout his career, he has released several critically acclaimed albums and collaborated with producer Dennis Herring on the 2023 album "Ain't Giving Up."
