Contemporary Noise Ensemble

Contemporary Noise Ensemble is a Polish jazz band formed in 2006 by brothers Jakub and Bartosz Kapsa following the dissolution of their previous hardcore-punk band, Something Like Elvis. Their debut album, "Pig Inside the Gentleman," was released in 2006, followed by "Unaffected Thought Flow" (2008) and "Ghostwriter's Joke" (2011). After a hiatus of over a decade, they returned in 2023 with "An Excellent Spiritual Serviceman," showcasing a new sound that incorporates programmable synthesizers in place of the brass section. Their music blends elements of jazz, space rock, funk, and electronic music. The products available from the artist Contemporary Noise Ensemble include vinyls.
