Cradle of Filth

Cradle of Filth is an English extreme metal band formed in 1991 in Suffolk. Their musical style evolved from black metal to a blend of symphonic and gothic metal. The current lineup includes vocalist Dani Filth, drummer Martin "Marthus" Škaroupka, bassist Daniel Firth, guitarists Marek "Ashok" Šmerda and Donny Burbage, and keyboardist Zoe Marie Federoff. Notable albums include "The Principle of Evil Made Flesh" (1994), "Cruelty and the Beast" (1998), and "The Screaming of the Valkyries" (2025). The band is known for lyrics influenced by gothic literature and horror films.
