David Banner

David Banner, born Lavell William Crump, is an American rapper, producer, and actor from Jackson, Mississippi. He began his music career as part of the duo Crooked Lettaz and released his first solo album, "Them Firewater Boyz, Vol. 1," in 2000. Notable albums include "Mississippi: The Album" (2003), "Certified" (2005), and "The Greatest Story Ever Told" (2008). His 2005 single "Play" reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
