David Gilmour

David Gilmour is an English guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, known as a member of the rock band Pink Floyd. He joined the band in 1967 and contributed to albums such as "The Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall". After Roger Waters' departure, he led Pink Floyd to release albums like "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" (1987) and "The Division Bell" (1994). Gilmour has released five solo albums, including "Luck and Strange" (2024). He has collaborated with artists like Kate Bush and Bryan Ferry. In 2003, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).
