Death

Death was an American death metal band founded by Chuck Schuldiner in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Their 1987 debut album, "Scream Bloody Gore," is considered the first true death metal album. Subsequent releases include "Leprosy" (1988), "Spiritual Healing" (1990), and "Human" (1991). The band underwent several lineup changes, with Schuldiner remaining the sole constant member. Death collaborated with musicians such as Gene Hoglan and Steve Di Giorgio. Their music was known for its technical complexity and influenced many other bands in the genre.
