Dream Theater

Dream Theater is an American progressive metal band formed in 1985 in Boston, Massachusetts. The current lineup consists of John Petrucci (guitar), John Myung (bass), Mike Portnoy (drums), James LaBrie (vocals), and Jordan Rudess (keyboards). The band has released sixteen studio albums, including "Images and Words" (1992), "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory" (1999), and "Parasomnia" (2025). Their music blends progressive rock and heavy metal, and they are considered one of the "big three" of progressive metal alongside Queensrÿche and Fates Warning.
