Eddie Fisher

Eddie Fisher was an American singer and actor who reached the peak of his career in the 1950s. During this period, he had over 60 hits on the Billboard, Cash Box, and UK charts. His most notable songs include "Wish You Were Here," "I'm Walking Behind You," "Outside of Heaven," "Oh! My Pa-Pa," and "I Need You Now." Fisher was known for his formal singing style, which was ideal for the ballads of that era. He collaborated with artists such as Perry Como, Sally Sweetland, and Hugo Winterhalter, and recorded a duet with Debbie Reynolds. His career as a hitmaker ended in the mid-1950s when rock 'n' roll began to dominate the music scene.
