Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Seattle by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. Initially a solo project, Grohl recorded the debut album "Foo Fighters" (1995) entirely by himself. The lineup soon expanded to include bassist Nate Mendel, drummer William Goldsmith, and guitarist Pat Smear. The band has released several successful albums, including "The Colour and the Shape" (1997), "There Is Nothing Left to Lose" (1999), and "Wasting Light" (2011). In 2021, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Following the death of drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022, Josh Freese joined the band.
