Gare du Nord

Gare du Nord is a Dutch-Belgian jazz band formed in 2001 by guitarist Ferdi Lancee and saxophonist Barend Fransen. Their debut album, "(In Search Of) Excellounge," released in 2001, featured tracks that appeared in the soundtracks of the TV series "Six Feet Under" and the film "Ghost Rider." In 2007, they released "Sex 'n' Jazz," collaborating with British singer Paul Carrack and featuring Marvin Gaye's vocals on the track "You're My Medicine." After Fransen's departure in 2013, the band continued with a new lineup led by vocalist Dorona Alberti.
