Gil Scott-Heron

Gil Scott-Heron was an American singer, musician, and author known for his work in the 1970s and 1980s. His collaboration with Brian Jackson fused jazz, blues, and soul with lyrics addressing social and political issues. Notable albums include "Pieces of a Man" and "Winter in America". His track "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" is considered a significant influence on hip-hop music. In 2010, he released the album "I'm New Here".
