Notable albums include "Rockpommel's Land" (1977) and "Solar Music Live" (1978). The band was renowned for their live performances, which featured pyrotechnics and theatrical elements. The song "Solar Music" was a key part of their concerts, often lasting over an hour. Grobschnitt disbanded in 1989 but reunited in 2007 for a series of concerts.
