Horace Parlan Quintet

The Horace Parlan Quintet was a jazz group led by American pianist Horace Parlan. In 1960, they recorded the album "Speakin' My Piece" for the Blue Note label, featuring Stanley Turrentine on tenor saxophone, Tommy Turrentine on trumpet, George Tucker on bass, and Al Harewood on drums. The album includes tracks like "Wadin'" and "Up In Cynthia's Room" and is considered a classic of the hard bop genre.
