İlhan Erşahin

İlhan Erşahin is a Turkish-Swedish saxophonist and composer known for blending jazz, electronic music, and world music. He released his debut album "She Said" in 1997, followed by "Home" in 1998. In 2000, he founded the band Wax Poetic, collaborating with artists like Norah Jones and Saul Williams. In 2002, he opened the Nublu club in New York, which became a hub for experimental music. His 2009 project "Istanbul Sessions" combines jazz with Turkish musical elements. Erşahin is also the founder of Nublu Records, a label focusing on innovative music.
