James Reese & The Progressions

James Reese was an American musician and bandleader known for his work in the funk and soul genres. In the 1970s, he led the band James Reese & The Progressions, which released several singles, including "Wait for Me" and "Let's Go (It's Summertime)". Their music featured energetic rhythms and prominent horn sections, characteristic of the funk music of that era.
