Ján Berky-Mrenica

Ján Berky-Mrenica was a Slovak violin virtuoso and composer, known for his contributions to folk music. He served as concertmaster in the Slovak Folk Art Collective (SĽUK) and later founded the orchestra Diabolské husle. Throughout his career, he performed in 52 countries and collaborated with artists such as Louis Armstrong. His accolades include the title of Meritorious Artist, the Pribina Cross, and the Crystal Wing award. His discography comprises 12 LP records and several CD albums.
