Joe Sample

Joe Sample was an American pianist and composer, known as a founding member of The Crusaders. Throughout his career, he collaborated with artists such as Miles Davis, George Benson, and Joni Mitchell. His 1978 solo album "Rainbow Seeker" is considered a classic of the jazz-funk genre.
