Joe Zawinul

Joe Zawinul was an Austrian jazz keyboardist and composer, recognized as a pioneer of jazz fusion. Throughout his career, he collaborated with artists such as Cannonball Adderley and Miles Davis. In 1970, he co-founded the band Weather Report, which significantly influenced the jazz fusion genre. Notable albums include "Zawinul" (1971), "Di•a•lects" (1986), and "My People" (1996). Zawinul was known for his innovative use of electronic keyboards and synthesizers, contributing to the development of modern jazz.
