John Coltrane Quartet

The John Coltrane Quartet was a jazz ensemble led by saxophonist John Coltrane, active from 1960 to 1965. The group included McCoy Tyner on piano, Jimmy Garrison on double bass, and Elvin Jones on drums. Their 1965 album "A Love Supreme" is regarded as one of the most significant works in jazz history. The quartet was known for its innovative approach to modal jazz and post-bop, influencing numerous musicians.
