Jongnic Bontemps

Jongnic Bontemps is an American composer and musician who has worked on over 50 projects, including films, documentaries, television series, and video games. He is known for his work on the 2016 film "The Land," where he collaborated with Erykah Badu and Nas on the song "This Bitter Land." In 2018, he composed the music for the documentary "United Skates." Bontemps is a classically trained composer with roots in church and jazz music as a pianist. He studied music at Yale University, Berklee College of Music, and the University of Southern California. In 2023, he composed the score for "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts."
