Kee Avil

Kee Avil is the project of Montreal producer Vicky Mettler, who combines guitar, voice, and electronic production to create deconstructed songs influenced by post-industrial, avant-pop, glitch, and experimental folk elements. Her 2022 debut album 'Crease' received widespread critical acclaim and a Juno Award nomination. In 2024, she released her second album 'Spine', characterized by a rawer sound and minimalist approach, with each track containing only four elements. Kee Avil has performed at festivals such as Ruhrtriennale, Le Guess Who?, and Vancouver Jazz Festival, supporting artists like Xiu Xiu and Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
