Kool & the Gang

Kool & the Gang is an American music group formed in 1964 in Jersey City, New Jersey. The original members included Robert "Kool" Bell, Ronald Bell, Dennis Thomas, Robert Mickens, Ricky Westfield, George Brown, and Charles Smith. The band is known for its unique blend of R&B, funk, and soul. Their most notable songs include "Celebration," "Jungle Boogie," and "Ladies' Night." Throughout their career, they have earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2024.
